How we check
Four checks, in the same order, on every single item.
The four checks
Federal recall check
Before anything else, we match the brand and model against the CPSC recall list. If an item has an open recall, it never gets listed.
It works
Anything with a plug, battery or moving part gets powered on and run through its main functions on our bench. A real person does the testing, not a scanner. If it doesn't work the way it should, it doesn't go on sale.
Nothing missing
We open the box and compare what's inside to the manufacturer's parts list. If a piece is missing, we say so in the listing and the grade reflects it.
Nothing broken
We inspect every surface for cracks, dents and damage that affects how the item is used. Cosmetic wear is noted and reflected in the grade. Anything with damage that affects use is pulled.
The tag on every item
Every item leaves our warehouse with a printed find report card attached, so you can see exactly what we found.

Our grades
Every item passes all four of our checks before it gets a grade. The grade only describes how it looks. Every grade works. Items sold for parts are never sold to the public.
A+
New
Sealed, never opened. Exactly as it left the factory.
Can include
- Factory-sealed items
- Minor outer box wear or retailer stickers
Never includes
- Opened packaging
- Any signs of use
- Missing parts
A
Like new
Opened, unused or barely used, no wear. Looks and works like it came off the store shelf.
Can include
- Opened box, item unused or barely used
- Minor box wear or retailer stickers
- All original parts and accessories
Never includes
- Any visible wear
- Scratches or marks on the item
- Missing parts
B
Good
Light wear from handling or brief use. Works perfectly, with all its parts.
Can include
- Light scuffs or small surface marks
- Damaged or missing original box
- Repackaged by our team
- Missing manual (noted on the tag)
Never includes
- Anything that affects how it works
- Missing functional parts
- Cracks, dents or chips
C
Fair
Visible cosmetic wear, but fully works. Priced to match the way it looks.
Can include
- Noticeable scratches, dents or discoloration
- No original packaging
- Non-essential accessories missing (always noted)
Never includes
- Damage that affects use or safety
- Any function that doesn't work
- Open recalls
Never for parts
Items that don't work, are missing essential parts or have damage that affects use are graded "for parts". Items sold for parts are never sold to the public.
About warranties
Because our goods are overstock and customer returns, the original manufacturer's warranty may not apply. We'd rather tell you upfront than have you find out later.
